Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using trapper.ledger (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your iOS devices in accordance with these terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or reverse engineer the App or any part of it. This license also conforms to the terms of Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
Apple's Role
These Terms are concluded between you (the user) and trapper.tools only, and not with Apple. trapper.tools, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App to you (if any); and, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App. trapper.tools, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and use of the App, including, but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation. In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of the App infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, trapper.tools, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that, upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
Subscriptions and Purchases
The App is free to download and use with a limited feature set, which includes one book and core ledger features at no cost and with no time limit. Pro features are available through either a $4.99/month auto-renewing subscription (“Pro Monthly”) or a $29.99 one-time purchase (“Pro Lifetime”) that unlocks Pro features and updates indefinitely. Actual prices may vary by region and are displayed in the App and on the App Store before any purchase is confirmed. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. For the monthly subscription, your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen package. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period. Refunds, where applicable, are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policy; we cannot directly issue refunds for purchases made through the App Store. The Pro Lifetime purchase is a non-recurring, one-time payment that grants access to Pro features and all future updates of the App while it remains available on the App Store.
Privacy
The collection and use of your personal information in connection with the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at /privacy. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
Your Content
All data you enter into the App — including inventory records, sales data, client information, shipment details, and financial figures — belongs entirely to you. We claim no ownership, license, or rights over your content. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data.
Responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of all data you enter into the App. trapper.ledger is a record-keeping and inventory management tool. It does not provide financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice. You should not rely on the App as a substitute for professional financial or accounting services. Any business decisions made using data from the App are made at your own risk.
No Warranty
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not liable for any data loss, whether caused by device failure, software errors, iCloud sync issues, or any other reason.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall trapper.tools, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses. Our total liability for any claims relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms of Use. Upon termination, your license to use the App is immediately revoked. All data stored locally on your device remains yours.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of the App shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of New York.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
