Your Data Stays Yours
trapper.ledger stores all data locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We never collect, transmit, or sell your data. Your financial information, inventory records, client details, and sales history remain entirely under your control.
iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud backup, your data syncs to your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. This data is encrypted by Apple using industry-standard encryption. We have no access to your iCloud data at any time.
Team Sharing
When you share a book with team members using the Team Sharing feature, data is transmitted via Apple's CloudKit sharing infrastructure. Only users you explicitly invite can access shared data. We have no access to shared data at any time. You can revoke access to any shared participant at any time.
No Tracking
We do not use analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, telemetry, or any third-party data collection services. There are zero third-party services integrated into trapper.ledger. We do not track your usage patterns, screen views, or any behavioral data.
Purchases
All purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We never see, process, or store your payment information, credit card details, or billing address. Apple manages all billing, renewals, and cancellations.
Local Preferences
App settings such as display preferences, alert thresholds, and notification preferences are stored locally on your device via UserDefaults. No personal information is stored in these preferences, and they never leave your device.
Deleting Your Data
You can delete all of your data at any time by going to Settings → Delete All Data within the app. This permanently removes all data from your device and, if iCloud sync is enabled, from your iCloud account. This action cannot be undone. You can also simply delete the app to remove all local data.
Children
trapper.ledger is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we do not collect any personal information from any users, this applies by default.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
